Humanitarian meals charity World Central Kitchen has known as for an impartial investigation into the Israeli air strike that killed seven of its assist employees, together with three British nationals, in Gaza on Monday.
WCK issued a press release on Thursday morning calling for the governments of Australia, Canada, the US, the UK and Poland – the international locations from which six of the employees hailed – to affix a third-party investigation into the drone bombardment on the charity’s convoy.
The investigation should set up “whether or not [the drone strikes] have been carried out deliberately or in any other case violated worldwide legislation”, it stated in a press release on Thursday.
The charity has stated seven of its employees, together with a Palestinian driver, have been killed by a sustained drone barrage towards their marked convoy, after unloading 100 tonnes of meals assist from a barge on 1 April.
The victims embody British nationals John Chapman, 57, James “Jim” Henderson, 33, and James Kirby, 47.
