The history of gift wrapping: ancient traditions to modern trends

In the course of the Early Three Kingdoms Interval (57CE – 668CE), Korea featured cloth reward wrap, with objects being wrapped as symbols of safety and good luck. Within the 1600s, the Japanese custom, Furoshiki, equally used fabric cloth. This custom was borne from wrapping garments at public baths so the man bathers would not unintentionally take the fallacious garments residence, however this developed into an early idea of reward giving.
