Because the service delay dragged on, extra cops tried to include the animal because it grew to become more and more aggressive, operating forwards and backwards, Mr. Perez stated. Ultimately, he stated, it escaped off the tracks and ran away.
The Newark Police stated on Thursday that no accidents had been reported through the episode, and that the bull had been contained inside a fenced lot on Victoria Avenue, close to a meat wholesaler, and can be taken to an area sanctuary.
