Explosive proof of alleged racism throughout the Northern Territory police power has been made public, following an order from the NT coroner.
throughout the coronial inquest into the demise of Kumanjayi Walker, whom Rolfe shot and killed throughout a botched police operation in 2019.
Rolfe instructed the coroner’s courtroom of racist awards allegedly handed out amongst members of the Territory Response Group, of which he was a member.
Coroner Elizabeth Armitage on Monday lifted the suppression order on a number of of the alleged awards, which Rolfe tendered as proof throughout the long-running inquest.
The primary depicts an Aboriginal flag with the Territory Response Group (TRG) emblem within the nook with the phrases “CAUTION for a RAPE… that is all that must be stated”.

The TRG emblem can also be on the ultimate 2012 award, depicting a unadorned man mendacity on his again and a lady carrying revealing clothes.

NT Commissioner Michael Murphy stated he was “taking the certificates as true” although they haven’t been formally verified.
“It is completely disgraceful and abhorrent, I will not stand for that sort of tradition within the Northern Territory police,” he stated on Monday.
