A Philadelphia teen homicide suspect who escaped en path to a hospital within the metropolis final week is again in custody, police stated Sunday.
Shane Pryor, 17, was captured by members of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Philadelphia Police Division whereas boarding a public transit bus, stated Sgt. Eric Gripp, a police spokesman.
Pryor was captured at third Road and Roosevelt Boulevard after which taken to the police Murder Unit, Gripp stated. The marshals service’s Philadelphia division stated on X that Pryor was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m.
Investigators had been conducting surveillance in an space that Pryor was recognized to frequent when he was seen boarding a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority bus, the marshals service stated. They had been in a position to pull the bus over and arrest him with out incident.
Pryor escaped at round midday Wednesday when he was being transported in a van to Youngsters’s Hospital of Philadelphia for a hand damage, police stated on the time.
