BHOPAL : Accusing the Opposition INDIA bloc to be a ‘jamghat’ (gathering of corrupt events and leaders), Union residence minister Amit Shah on Thursday mentioned that scams value Rs 12 lakh crore occurred in the course of the 10 years of UPA regime within the nation.
“Those that indulged in scams and corruption are actually going to jail. Members of the Ghamandiya Gathbandhan (INDIA bloc) are beating their chests. We are going to make sure that every penny of the cash meant for poor, Dalits, tribals and backward sections is returned to the poor and the disadvantaged, and each one who siphoned that cash is put behind the bars,” Shah mentioned at two ballot rallies in Madhya Pradesh.
Shah first addressed a rally in assist of sixth-time sitting MP and Union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste in Mandla-ST seat after which addressed one other in assist of the sitting MP in Khajuraho constituency and state BJP chief VD Sharma.
