Microsoft Groups is experiencing a service outage that has blocked entry and restricted options for some customers.
The outage started Friday at round 11 a.m. Japanese, with studies of technical points rising quickly in scope later within the afternoon and peaking shortly earlier than 2 p.m. Greater than 14,500 service incidents have been reported by then, outage tracker DownDetector’s information reveals. It is unclear what number of customers are affected by the outages.
Microsoft didn’t instantly reply to CBS MoneyWatch’s request for remark.
Based on DownDetector, 67% of the user-reported points contain the Groups app, 25% are service connection-related issues and eight% are web site points. Customers have complained they’re unable to make use of the service, citing messaging delays and issues with graphic shows.
Microsoft stated Friday in a message on X that it has recognized “a networking situation impacting a portion of the Groups service,” and has moved the affected processes to a backup system.
