A person in his 40s has been arrested following a seizure of medication value over €6 million at Rosslare Europort yesterday.
The medication seized by Income Officers on Friday embrace roughly 288.6kg of natural hashish, 72.8kg of hashish resin and three.3kg of cocaine.
The overall haul has an estimated worth of €6,443,640.
“The person, aged in his 40s, is at present detained below Part 2 of the Prison Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in County Wexford,” a garda spokesperson mentioned.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
