Former Brisbane Lions captain Dayne Zorko says an act by his teammate Noah Answerth was “not the way in which we need to win”.
Answerth mockingly wiped his eyes, gesturing that he was crying, in the direction of Melbourne Demons participant Harrison Petty throughout the ultimate quarter of Brisbane’s 22-point win over Melbourne on Thursday evening.
It was an obvious repeat of an unpleasant incident from 2022, when Petty was crying throughout a match following a sledge from Zorko.
