Airseas

The most important consumer of a ship kite system initially developed by Airbus has turn into such a fan that it has purchased the corporate.

Japan’s Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (Okay Line), through a newly created French subsidiary known as Oceanicwing, has purchased out Airseas, the producer of the Seawing automated kite system.

Okay Line claimed immediately that Seawings can cut back CO2 emissions by roughly 20% and will be put in on any service provider ship.

Airseas is constructing a manufacturing unit in Nantes to open by 2026 as the corporate appears to scale as much as meet the demand for its kite system.

Okay Line, as the highest buyer, has already signed up for 51 installations.
