Former Australian Check cricketer and commentator Michael Slater is being held in custody after his arrest on eight prices together with assault and one rely of breaching bail.
The 54-year-old has been charged with assault occasioning bodily hurt, strangulation, illegal stalking, getting into a dwelling by break at night time and 4 counts of frequent assault.
Mr Slater’s matter was briefly heard on Monday in Maroochydore Magistrates Court docket on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
He didn’t seem and no plea was entered.
Responsibility lawyer Michael Robinson advised the courtroom enquiries could be made a couple of rehabilitation facility.
Mr Slater has been remanded in custody and the matter has been adjourned till Tuesday, when a bail utility is predicted to be made.
