HELSINKI (AP) — Labour unions in Finland went on strike Wednesday, beginning a three-days labor motion that may have an effect on as much as 300,000 employees and severely disrupt the day by day life.

Commerce unions are protesting revisions to labor market laws and social safety cuts proposed by the center-right authorities of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
