NEW DELHI: Nationwide Convention president and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in a cash laundering case, based on officers.Farooq Abdullah has been questioned by the ED up to now reportedly in reference to a case of alleged monetary irregularities within the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Affiliation (JKCA).Farooq Abdullah, who’s an MP from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, was charged by the ED within the case in 2022.The case pertains to siphoning off the funds of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Affiliation by the use of switch to varied private financial institution accounts of unrelated events, together with these of JKCA workplace bearers, and by the use of unexplained money withdrawals from JKCA financial institution accounts, the ED had mentioned.(With inputs from businesses)
