A constable who was making an attempt to de-escalate a conflict between two teams within the Saroopganj space in Sirohi district was stabbed to dying, police mentioned on Sunday. Enraged by the constable’s intervention, some males allegedly assaulted the cop and stabbed him earlier than fleeing from the spot, they mentioned.

Three of the accused have been later arrested and police have been making an attempt to nab the remaining, they added. Sirohi SP Anil Kumar mentioned that the arrested males are being interrogated.
