Stephen Gilmore: departing NZ Superannuation Fund CIO

The NZ Superannuation Fund (NZS) has confirmed chief funding officer, Stephen Gilmore, has resigned after profitable the identical place at one of many world’s largest pension funds.

Gilmore, former chief funding strategist for the Australian Future Fund, took over from Whineray as NZS CIO in 2019 and was reportedly a candidate for the highest job that was in the end awarded to Townsend.
