BSP Lok Sabha candidate in MP leaves home amid ‘ideological clash’ with Congress MLA wife

BALAGHAT: BSP Lok Sabha candidate from Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh, Kankar Munjare, on Saturday, mentioned he had left dwelling, which he shares along with his Congress MLA spouse Anubha Munjare, since two individuals following totally different ideologies should not keep beneath one roof throughout polls.

Kankar Munjare, a former MLA and MP, mentioned he would return dwelling after polling day on April 19. “I left my dwelling on Friday and am dwelling in a hut close to a dam. If two individuals following totally different ideologies stay beneath one roof, individuals will assume it’s match-fixing,” he instructed PTI.

His spouse, Anubha Munjare, had defeated BJP heavyweight Gaurishanker Bisen within the November 2023 Meeting polls.

She mentioned she was damage by her husband’s stand and claimed a lady goes to her marital dwelling to stay there until loss of life.

“When he was Gondwana Gantantra Celebration candidate from Paraswada right here and I used to be contesting from Balaghat on a Congress ticket, we had stayed collectively. We have now been married for 33 years and have lived fortunately with our son,” she mentioned.

Anubha Munjare asserted she was a loyal Congress functionary and would put in all efforts to make sure celebration candidate Samrat Saraswat wins the Lok Sabha polls from Balaghat. However she wouldn’t communicate in poor health about her husband throughout campaigning, the MLA emphasised.
