Australian police investigating assault complaint against Taylor Swift’s father

An Australian photographer stated he was punched by Taylor Swift’s father on a wharf on Sydney Harbour early on Tuesday morning after her remaining Sydney live performance, prompting a police investigation.

Police stated they have been investigating an alleged assault involving a 71-year-old man and one other man on Impartial Bay wharf about 2.30am on Tuesday. Police didn’t title Swift’s father, Scott, who’s 71 years of age.

Native media reported the complainant was an Australian photographer who was ready for Taylor Swift and her father as they arrived on the Impartial Bay wharf following a late-night cruise on Sydney Harbour.

Taylor Swift was along with her father on the time, however had entered a automotive when the alleged assault occurred, in keeping with state broadcaster ABC.

A spokesperson for Taylor Swift informed Rolling Stone two folks have been appearing “aggressively” in the direction of Swift and her entourage when the incident occurred.

“Two people have been aggressively pushing their manner in the direction of Taylor, grabbing at her safety personnel, and threatening to throw a feminine employees member into the water,” the spokesperson stated in an announcement.

The ABC reported the photographer, Ben McDonald, stated Swift’s entourage used umbrellas to attempt to forestall him taking images and within the alleged altercation Swift’s father turned concerned.
