Vice-Admiral Tripathi has been appointed the Vice Chief of Naval Employees and posted at Naval headquarters in New Delhi, stated a Navy launch.
Previous to taking on because the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the WNC, Vice-Admiral Singh served because the Vice Chief of Naval Employees at Naval headquarters. Vice-Admiral Singh is a graduate of the Pune-based Nationwide Defence Academy and was commissioned in 1986 within the Govt Department of the Navy.
In a profession spanning 37 years, he has served on most class of ships of the Navy and has held a spread of command, coaching and employees appointments, together with Assistant Chief of Naval Employees (Communications, House and Community-Centric Operations (CSNCO)), Flag Officer Sea Coaching, Flag Officer Commanding Western Fleet, Commandant Naval Battle Faculty, and Controller Personnel Providers and Deputy Chief of Built-in Defence Employees (Operations), the Navy stated.
He was the lead drafter for the Indian Navy’s Maritime Doctrine, 2009, Strategic Steering to Transformation, 2015, and the Indian Maritime Safety Technique, 2015, the discharge stated. Vice-Admiral Singh specialised in navigation and course in 1992 and attended the Superior Command and Employees Course within the UK in 2000.
He underwent the Naval Larger Command Course in 2009 on the Naval Battle Faculty, Mumbai, and the Nationwide Safety Technique Course in 2012 on the Nationwide Defence Faculty, Delhi, it added.
