Gass heating up for shot at Olympics – Times

Ryan Gass, a former Macleans School rower, is doing all he can for a shot on the Olympics.

He rowed for Macleans School from late 2016 till 2021 and had various ranges of success, with one Nationwide bronze medal, two North Island silvers, and one North Island bronze throughout his time there.

From 2020 onwards, he has been rowing on the Auckland Rowing Membership with varied successes whereas on the membership, profitable a number of medals.

“Final season I used to be a part of the New Zealand beneath 21 rowing crew because the reserve. I, sadly, had a number of well being points through the marketing campaign and was unable to compete to my full potential on the regatta,” stated Gass.

He raced his double with Jack MacDonald, one other former Macleans scholar.
