A flight from New York made an emergency touchdown at Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau Worldwide Airport on Friday after officers say smoke was detected on board.
The Delta captain requested emergency companies earlier than touchdown the aircraft with 69 folks on board, in response to airport spokesperson Anne-Sophie Hamel. The dual-jet was evacuated on the tarmac as a precautionary measure and there have been no accidents reported.
