Speaking to reporters in Nagpur on Monday, Fadnavis stated, “So long as the BJP is a part of the state authorities, it is not going to permit any injustice in opposition to OBCs…. The OBC reservation will stay intact… if there are issues, it will be undoubtedly thought of with wider consultations with OBC leaders.”
The deputy CM stated, “The draft notification is topic to verification. It’s not a blanket choice to subject Kunbi certificates to all Marathas. I’ll converse with senior minister Chhagan Bhujbal. We are going to deal with OBC issues whether it is wanted.”
On Sunday, OBC leaders met at Bhujbal’s residence and determined to protest in opposition to the federal government choice on February 3.
