A brand new pay deal for 385,000 civil and public sector staff has been agreed between union and Authorities representatives that may see pay rises of 10.25 per cent over 2½ years.

Representatives of the 2 sides continued to work on the documentation on the places of work of the Office Relations Fee (WRC) till round 6am on Friday when a settlement was reached on the important thing difficulty of pay after 19 hours of talks.
